Amber Coupe began Phoenix in 2015 with 13 years of experience in the event & marketing sector under her belt. With a burning vision to build a platform for organisations to raise awareness for important causes, through engaging and authentic events & experiences. As we say at Phoenix, “to start a movement, you need a crowd.”

 

A large driver for Amber has been this desire to create a lasting impression for our clients, but another is the opportunity to create a workplace where staff can thrive by doing meaningful work, in a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment. As a mum of two boys (3 and 1) – one of the appeals of starting her own business was the flexibility to work on her own terms. Now, with a small team its a privilege and challenge for Amber to create this for others.

 

Client relationships is where Amber does her best work aligning with outstanding not-for-profit organisations including Adopt Change, Children’s Ground, EB Foundation, Second Bite, Pony Up for Good, The Bridge (Disability Foundation) and Camp Quality.

 

Early on, Amber realised that our approach, standards, passion, and values were desirable not only for NFP organisations but for corporates also – attracting organisations like AMA, Afterpay, BMW, PAUSE FEST, SXiQ, CBA, LiveTilesNYC and Bupa.

 

It is important to Amber to align with clients that share the same values, objectives and culture– as opposed to simply taking anything we can get our hands on. This strong alignment with our clients creates lasting relationships that Ambers believes will help us make a difference to the broader community over time and our future success as we continue to grow.
