NO/BS Conference (created by Soul + Wolf)

 

The Brief:

Jason Soultan, owner of Soul + Wolf design agency, was tired and frustrated with the persistent commercial tone of conferences and events in the digital space, where meaningful real-world content was lacking. In response, the idea for NO/BS Conference was born; a place where like-minded people can get together, listen to some amazing stories and cut through all the…. BS.

 

The Phoenix team were engaged to bring this idea to life. We developed the pre-event marketing campaign including creating and building the organic social media campaign for ticket sales, creating organic social media and EDM content for the NO/BS team to drive on their platforms as well as coordinating the advertising campaign strategy. Phoenix were responsible for all logistics and delivery of the event including conference management, organising travel and accommodation for speakers from all over the world, creating unique and interactive sponsor activations, exciting social events, content development, styling and concept design, food & beverage management, on-site signage, bump in and bump out duties and most importantly creating an atmosphere where attendees would feel inspired and motivated!

 

The Result:

The inaugural NO/BS Conference held at one of Melbourne’s most iconic venues, the Forum. With 300 ticket holders, 7 supporting partners, 4 activations, a single stream of content with 18 speakers and 2 panels, a VIP Cocktail Reception and an EPIC wrap party. We used Slido technology to engage the audience throughout the day and Delv networking app to create meaningful conversations. We bought to life Jason’s idea and created a digital event like no other, bringing together a community of designers, developers, project managers, project owners and business owners to start a movement and bring a new voice to the industry!
